After telephone conversations with the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and the President of Puntland, Mr. Saeed Abdullahi Deni, we managed to get both sides to agree to resolve the existing political conflict. and come together on the floor.

To give this initial opportunity, we agreed with President Hassan Sheikh to suspend the file related to the amendment of the constitution for two weeks. However, the role of elders that we have committed to ourselves has not borne fruit after we have not received any response from President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. He has once again proceeded to break the condition for the talks to begin.

Our country is currently at a difficult crossroads where our territorial unity and independence are at risk. The only way to overcome it is through consultation, compromise and compromise. It appears to us that the President has deviated from what he promised, which may lead to the country entering into a solution of division and conflict.

We thank the President of the Puntland Administration, Mr. Saeed Abdullahi Deni, for welcoming and responding to the mediation, and we assure everyone interested in the political affairs of Somalia that the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is responsible for any separation.
