The President pointed out that this agreement will lead to the US Government increasing the support and training of the Somali Forces, especially the specially trained Danab brigade, training and military centers will be implemented in the cities of Mogadishu, Kismayo, Baidoa, Jowhar and Dhusamareb .

"This agreement supports the Somali government in the plans to reform and strengthen the Somali National Army, the struggle to liberate the country from Al-Shabaab terrorists and ensure security, and he instructed the members from the Somali government of the joint committee of the two countries to give priority to the implementation of the agreement".

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud thanked the United States government for its role in improving the specially trained forces of Danab and the Somali security agencies in general, noting how they are the backbone of the war against terrorism and the ongoing operations to liberate them. the areas where they are hiding.

The agreement was signed by the two governments, the Minister of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Abdulqadir Mohamed Nur and the Secretary of the US Embassy in Somalia, Shane Dixon.
