Kismayo, February 14, 2024; The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who arrived in Kismayo, was warmly welcomed by the President of the Jubbaland Region, Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, Vice Presidents, members of the Jubbaland Government and hundreds of local communities.

The President's visit is based on the completion of the liberation of the areas under the control of terrorists, the development of the Federalization process, and the observation of the living conditions of the Jubbaland people. 

In the city of Kismayo, he will have meetings with the heads of the Jubaland regional government and the various sectors of the society, listening to their suggestions on building a government, protecting the unity and independence of the country, and the development of the country.
